Sam & Francois sail South for the hurricane season via Les Saintes, Dominica, Martinique, St Lucia, and Union Island after an aborted Transatlantic crossing plan…..Transat 2012 now scheduled!
James and James joined up for a couple of weeks sailing from St Maarten to Dominica and back as a shakedown for the planned Transatlantic crossing. Some blustery days and a fair bit of rain, interspersed with some great trade winds sailing.
Julie & Bruce enjoyed a fun-packed week aboard as we sailed the Leewards from Marigot to Grand Case to St Barths’ to Anguilla…wonderful trip and loads of laughs, thanks you guys!
So on we went to the start line, with tongue in cheek, lobster in the fridge and everyone geared up for a bit of a laugh!
I couldn’t have hoped for a better crew for the 2011 Heineken Regatta in St Maarten, Karen, Liz and Francisco were chilled out, in holiday mode and, most of all, fantastic fun!
So we headed to the BVI’s for New Year with no real plans on where to be for the bells and found THE coolest place to be for New Year 2011….a wild ride home rounded off Pete & Ade’s Holiday!
After a nightmare journey from the UK via Grenada, Pete and Adrian joined Steve for a Christmas to remember at anchor in the beautiful Anse de Columbier on St Barth’s.
Steve joined Ibis for Christmas sailing and was treated to some memorable swells rolling in from the Atlantic, white sand beaches and turquoise sea; we kicked off with a circumnavigation of Anguilla and some night sailing.
