Dominica to Antigua
A sailing tour of rainforests and historic sea battles. Enjoy Dominica’s wild, untamed rainforest, the beautiful Isles des Saintes and hilltop museum, and Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua. Relive the Caribbean maritime history of Pirates and Privateers
Sailing in Dominica, Guadeloupe & Antigua
Fly into Dominica and meet up with your shipmates at Roseau, Dominica’s capital. Then stow your gear for a romp through some of the most atmospheric of the Caribbean Islands; the spectacular mountains covered in rainforest make for memorable coastal sailing in the footsteps of Columbus, and we follow the trade ship trail and the battles between the French and the Engilsh. Even if you’ve never sailed before, you won’t fail to be enchanted by the history of the Leeward Islands and your Skipper will soon having you pulling the ropes like a pro!
Have a Sailing Adventure
Our 10 day tour of the islands of Dominica. Guadeloupe and Antigua includes glorious blue water sailing, great home-cooked food, fantastic snorkelling and evenings under the stars. Beginners and improvers are assured of a relaxed and unhurried learning experience and single travellers will make firm friends amongst their fellow boat buddies.
Our itinerary takes in all the island highlights including some of the sets of Pirates of the Caribbean, and gives you plenty of sailing, whilst allowing you time for relaxing and exploring. Diving trips can also be arranged to top dive spots like the Cabrits National Park on Dominica.
Sunshine & Warm Seas
Warm sunny weather is practically guaranteed; there are often showers in this part of the world but they never last long, and hey, it’s warm rain! Temperatures in their high 20′s are the norm, and there’s always a cooling breeze on board. The sea is a wonderful shade of blue, and I can honestly say that it is uniquely Caribbean; nowhere more so than in Dominica….prepare to be amazed.
