Heineken Regatta

21st February to 5th March 2012
Don’t just sit on the sidelines watching, throw yourself into the heady mix of sailing and partying in the glorious waters around St Maarten in the St Maarten Heineken Regatta. One of the highlights of the Caribbean regatta circuit this event is famous for its laid back racing and serious socialising; not to be missed.

Have fun in the Regatta -No Experience Necessary

Throw away the shackles of your office life and get ready to pitch yourself into an adventure filled fortnight of swashbuckling proportions! By the end of the practice week, you’ll be ready to enter the Regatta even if you’ve never sailed before; Sam is used to working with a mixture of sailing abilities and will soon having you pulling the ropes like a pro!

Take a look at some footage from last year’s fun on Ibis….

Because we cruise and carry a lot of equipment on board, we don’t expect to be up there on the podium, although we’ll certainly give it a shot! But we do promise to have you working together like a proper racing team in next to no time. And even though we don’t take our racing very seriously, we do promise that you’ll have a boatload of great memories to take home with you.

Not Very Serious Practicing

Our 14 day itinerary includes a week long run up to the Heineken Regatta itself; during this time we’ll spend time tacking & gybing until you’re part of a well oiled machine. Our training grounds include some fabulous swimming and snorkelling spots and we’ll make sure you have some time to enjoy the local scenery as well as becoming a slick member of the team!

Perfect for Active Singles

The Heineken Regatta is perfect for single people who want to make some new friends as well as have a fit, fun, active holiday adventure.

Definitely not to be missed if you like to work hard & play hard!

Sunshine & Warm Seas

Warm sunny weather is practically guaranteed; there are occasional showers in this part of the world but they never last long, and hey, it’s warm rain! Temperatures in their high 20′s are the norm, and there’s always a cooling breeze on board. The sea is a wonderful shade of blue, and the Anguilla beaches are whiter than white….prepare to be amazed.
